Always look before making abrupt turns, other boaters will not expect you to be able to turn so quickly.
Never place your feet or hands under the fins while the water craft is in shallow water. Wave action or a rider could cause the fins to impact you and cause injury.
Never intentionally place yourself or others in harms way expecting to avoid a collision at the last moment. Should any portion of your steering suddenly fail you may be seriously hurt or killed. That could ruin your whole day!
