| Bought and
installed the fins
in July 07. The fit
was perfect. I took
my time so it took
me an honest hour
comparing what I
was seeing to stuff
on the YJB Forum.
(I do the measure
twice cut once
thing) Once I was
absolutely certain
then I started the
actual install.
(For some reason, I
didn't get a
diagram..just
instructions, but
there was a daigram
on YJB forum that I
printed off) The
hardest part was
getting the nuts on
the bolts after the
holes were drilled
but that was due
mainly to clumsy
fingers. I noticed
an IMMEDIATE
difference backing
away from the dock.
The boat tracked
perfectly. At high
speeds (40+) I
wasn't aware of any
difference in my
tracking and
turning but at
speeds lower than
that the boat felt
"tighter"
and tracked like a
bloodhound. Great
product, easy
ordering, delivered
in 4 days. Product
was as
advertised...and
you have another
satisfied custyomer
who will recommend
your product in a
heartbeat. Thanks

| I got my fins back
in may 07 but
didn't want to post
any comment before
at least 20 hours
of "test
drive".
One word sums it
all: IMPRESSIVE
!
Over the years I
owned 5 jetboats
and they all had
the same problem:
severe lack of low
speed
manoeuvrability.
I can't beleive
what I am now
experiencing with
the CJ Fins. Right
on the money
targeting at low
speed - forward or
backward, sharp
cornering at high
speed ... can't do
W/O them from now
on.
Those fins should
be mandatory on all
jetboats ...
period!
Great stuff, money
well spent.
On a side note:
Being from up
north, Canada, I
experienced some
delivery delay due
to custom's
innefficiencies and
Jeff was more than
cooperating with
all my inquiries
generated by my
impatience.
Thanks. |

| I just wanted to
say thank you for
your amazing
steering system. I
received my order
all the way to
California in only
3 days. Prior to
adding the Cobra
Jet, my boat was so
difficult to
control at low
speeds that going
through crowded
marinas was scary,
trolling was
impossible and my
wife hated to
drive. I installed
the Cobra Jet
Steering this
weekend and we were
amazed. It
responds as well as
a stern drive. We
did a 140 mile trip
over the holiday
weekend through the
California delta
and it worked
perfect. It was
safer and easier to
pick up the water
skiers. It was
easier to control
in the wind and
currents. We even
did some
trolling... didn't
catch anything but
it was fun to
drive.
Thanks again. I'm
completely
impressed.

| I just received
the steering
rudders from Jeff
(way up here in
Newfoundland,
Canada). I have to
say that they are
very well built and
they fitted like
gloves onto the
nozzles. Kudos to
Jeff for such a
fine product.
All I can say wrt
the steering is
that it's amazing
with them
installed. From
idle speed onward I
now have complete
steering control.
No longer am I
hesitant on coming
into my berth at
the marina. I've
gone from a
semi-controlled
crash to a
comfortable
placement at my
berth, every time.
It's beyond me why
the Yamaha jet
boats don't come
equipped with
these.
Jeff, thanks and
I'll spread the
word!

| Jeff,
I wanted to
compliment you on
your fine product
and service. I
recently purchased
my boat and prior
to the purchase I
was aware of your
product. I was no
stranger to the jet
propulsion having
owned several PWC.
However, the
prospect of
maneuvering a large
boat through busy
no-wake zones and
loading onto the
trailer in river
currents had me
quite aprehensive.
After purchasing
the boat I decided
to give it a try a
couple of times
without fins.
While it wasn't
quite as bad as I
imagined, I knew
the addition of
your fins would
certainly help the
situation. I
ordered the fins
and received them
very promptly.
Installation took
me about an hour
but I also had to
police an
inquisitive 3 year
old at the same
time.
I can't say enough
about the benefits
to the low speed
handling of the
boat now that the
fins are installed.
Maneuvering around
the boat ramp and
onto the trailer is
very precise. I
recently spent a
two week vacation
with the boat and
it was docked in a
very tight and
crowded harbor
which was not a
problem. I also
have noticed the
fins help the boat
maintain
directional
stability when
crossing large
wakes at speed.
I would recommend
your product to
others without
hesitation. |

| Get the Fins!
I too, was
skeptical(and
cheap)at first. I
read all the post
on
yamahajetboaters.co
m, read the
testimonials here,
and even had a few
other local Yamaha
jetboaters tell me
to get the fins.
Yet, I still
waited. I thought
I could just learn
to drive it as
is...... Yes, I did
learn to drive the
boat and I even
managed to dock it
once without
scarring the crap
out of myself,
everybody on the
boat and everybody
within a mile of
the dock. But,
mostly I was afraid
of docks and stayed
far, far
away.........
My wife refused to
drive the boat
except in open
water. I had
actually considered
selling the boat
and buying
something else.
I finally broke
down and orderd the
fins. They were
quick and easy to
install, even a
caveman could do
it. WOW, what a
difference the fins
make at low speed.
The boat now tracks
straight at no-wake
speed and I am able
to dock it with
minimum effort. On
our first trip out
with the fins, both
my wife and I
practiced
"docking"
up next to several
bouys. When we got
ready to leave, my
wife volunteered to
drive it on the
trailer. I must
say, she did it
perfectly. I
looked at her and
said, "dang I
think that was
perfect." She
just smiled and
said, "I guess
because of those
'fin-things' we can
keep the
boat."
So, get the fins.
Don't delay like I
did.

| All I have to say
is WOW!!!! What a
difference the fins
make. I could
notice the
improvement within
20 ft. I had slow
speed turning. I
have had jet ski's,
jet boats and
several prop engine
boats. Now the AR
handles like the
rest of the boats I
have owned. I would
recommend this
product to anyone
with a jet drive. |

| I received my Cobra
Steering and had it
installed in 10
minutes. I'm not
mechanically
inclined. Before
installing the
steering units, I
had problems
steering in tight
marinas and docking
the boat. After
installing them, I
pulled right up to
the dock with ease,
the first time, no
steering issues and
no embarrassment.
Thank you for
creating this
device. It saved my
sanity!

| Jeff....Great
Product. I
installed it and
used it for a week
at the river. Such
a difference.
I would have sold
the AR if I didnt
have your fins.
They are so easy to
install, I
installed them
while parked in a
Kmart/Food 4 Less
parking lot on my
way to the river.
Instructions are
clear and concise.
I would recommend
you don't run
without these. |

| JUST GOT MY COBRA
FINS LAST WEEK,
INSTALLATION WAS A
BREEZE. AT FIRST I
THOUGHT, HOW CAN
THESE THINGS HELP
THAT MUCH, GUESS
WHAT, THESE FINS
ARE AWSOME. THE
FIRST TIME I TOOK
MY BOAT OUT WITHOUT
THE FINS I WAS
NERVOUS I WOULD HIT
SOMEONE WHEN
PULLING UP TO DOCK.
NOW, MY WIFE CALLS
ME COCKEY, I CAN
IDLE IN TURN AND
BACK INTO THE SLIP
AT THE MARINA. IF
YOU ARE THINKING
ABOUT BUYING THEM,
JUST DO IT.
DEFINATELY WORTH
THE MONEY, PROBABLY
SAVED MY MARRIAGE
DUE TO STRESS OF
WIFE YELLING AT ME
TO WATCH OUT WHEN
WE TRIED TO DOCK OR
TRAILER BEFORE.
BEST OPTION OUT
THERE FOR A JET
BOAT
THANKS AGAIN
