| Sun Jun 29, 2008 20:54:56 W. Lowe 2005 Yamaha AR230 Jetboat  | Man what a world of difference the Cobra Jet steering made to the operation of my boat. Wife had a hard time loading the boat and was scared to try and dock. After the Cobra Jet steering she is a pro. Response is quicker and turning radius is greatly improved. Precise at high speed and responsive at slow speed. Every jet boat needs Cobra Jet Steering. Fast delivery and easy to install. Took me about 45 mins start to finish. Looks great and everyone asks what they are! Now I need to get some for the two 2002 SeaDoos that I just bought. Thanks Jeff for an awesome product. | Tue Jun 17, 2008 21:49:55 Keith M Rodger Yamaha SX210 Jetboat | I fitted the units on Saturday to my Yamaha SX210 which was a very simple operation. Tested the boat on Sunday and the difference was tremendous. These units really make a big difference when operating at slow speed. The boat actually goes in a straight line without any steering adjustment which it did not do before. These should be standard on all Yamaha jetboats!!! Thankyou. Best regards, Keith M Rodger | ||

Steering and the
way Jeff answered
everyone of my
questions. After
installing the
Cobra Jet Fins and
taking the boat to
the river I
instantly noticed a
change in steering.
Not only does the
boat handle good in
No Wake Mode it
also handles good
just advancing the
throttle a little.
I now have 2 speeds
for no wake areas,
really slow and
moderatly slow(No

| Tue May 20, 2008 01:15:19 Tom Seeley 2008 Yamaha 230SX | Jeff, Took the boat out today and could not be more happy with it. The biggest difference is "no wake" mode. I can actually use it now with very little steering input. Before is was totally useless. Way more predictable at low speeds. Its nice when something lives up to the "hype" surrounding it. Thanks for making my boat a lot more fun to drive. | ||

few days of
ordering. They were
very easy to
install, and I had
them on the boat in
about an hour. I
took my boat out
about two weeks
later. Last year
this boat was very
scary to steer with
out the cobra
steering. Now that
I have it, I feel
like I am steering
my stern drive. Big
difference!!!! I
love this steering

disappointed in the
slow-speed
steering. I found
some references to
Cobra Jet Steering
on some jetboating
websites and called
Jeff. He offered
to install them for
me (I live about 45
minutes from St
Pete) and had them
on half an hour
after I arrived. These fins make an amazing difference in the performance of my boat. Without them, there is probably no way I would buy another jet boat. I can't believe Yamaha doesn't license this patent from Jeff and install them on every boat. Thanks Jeff! | ||
| Thu Oct 04, 2007 13:31:15 jim 1997 sea doo sp | i found jeff's website through a search for upgrades and read the page, then i called jeff and had a nice conversation relating to the product. i then purchased a unit and have recently operated my ski and the improvement is day and night difference. i can honestly say, that his product does greatly improve the steering response and makes the ski feel very predictable. top end steering is very responsive.. increasing my confidence during maneuvering. i would definitely purchase this product again in the future. thanks for a great product jeff. :) |
